There are two sets of connected bills passing through the capitals of several States that I find most interesting. The first to start was the re-assertion of the Tenth Amendment which states "The powers not delegated to the United States by the Constitution, nor prohibited by it to the States, are reserved to the States respectively, or to the people."
The federal government has pervasively and steadily usurped those things reserved to the States. These collective bills, I hope, are the opening salvo in the reemergence of States rights and the retraction of the federal government to is constitutional bounds.
Round two is a more developing situation. It has to do with interstate/intrastate commerce and guns. Montana and then my state of Tennessee have passed laws which state that guns made in and to be sold within the state borders are not under the authority of the federal government to regulate. These law bring together two arguments that I strongly believe in: gun rights and states rights.
There have been few times in nations history that have been more pivotal. Now we have the choice to return to individual liberty and freedom, capitalism, and the constitution or to embrace socialism, soft communism, and soon, abandon the constitution legitimately as opposed to the death by a thousand redefinitions strategy that is currently being employed.
